Vent filters incorporating hydrophobic / oleophobic membranes ranging from 0.2 to 10 micron
pore sizes are available for exterior automotive lighting and pressure sensor applications.
This membrane resists water, oil and other under-the-hood fluids while allowing free
passage of air and vaporous gases.
The precision overmolding and 100% flow testing of the membrane allows for our customers to ensure that their sensors are protected as well as able to function properly. Most automotive vent applications include a protective dust cap for additional shielding from grease and oils under the hood.
